HELP SUPPORT EVERY VETERAN WHO CALLS OUR REGION HOME
The Barrow County Veterans Resource Center (BCVRC) is dedicated to empowering and sustaining the veteran community and their families in our region. The BCVRC is a 501c3 nonprofit volunteer organization. Our mission is an ongoing commitment to addressing food insecurity within the veteran community - building upon our foundation of having delivered over 400,000 pounds of food since 2019 - while strategically expanding our service offerings to address the veteran's well-being.

🎯 Core Pillars of Our Mission
  • We achieve this by focusing on:

  • 1. Sustainable Support & Food Security:
  • Providing reliable and sustainable access to
  • essential resources,
  • ensuring no veteran or their family
  • experiences hunger, and offering long-term
  • assistance to promote self-sufficiency.

  • 2. Mental Wellness & Health:
  • Facilitating direct access to critical
  • mental health services.

  • 3. Active Advocacy:
  • Championing the needs of our veterans at the local
  • and regional levels.
4. Community Partnership: Building, cultivating and leveraging strong, collaborative relationships with local organizations, businesses, and government agencies.
Through these efforts, the BCVRC strives to be the central hub of comprehensive, sustainable, and compassionate support for every veteran who calls our region home.
